    R1 visa and F1 visa
    Hi, If my spouse and I are on a F1 (student) visa and I apply for a R1 (religious) visa, can my spouse still be on a F1 visa? My spouse has scholarship and wouldn't like to loose it.

    If both of you hold F-1 visa, he can maintain his status after you switch to R-1.
