Okay, so I had sex on the 5th of January. I had 2 pregnancy tests on the 25th & a vaginal ultrasound on the 28th. All came back with no baby. I am, however, pregnant (36weeks & 5 days) but hoping baby was conceived on a later date. Is it possible the test & ultrasound just missed the baby?

Calculating conception dates is an inexact science. Anything you get is an estimate that could go 2 weeks either way.

The only you will be able to tell paternity is with a test after the child is born.

My doctor told me it wasn't possible for the person I had sex with to be the father due to those facts & my ultrasound at 10 weeks. You think he is wrong?

No, but if he told you that, why are you asking us?

What I said is accurate. So anyone you had sex with between 34 and 38 weeks ago has the potential to be the father.
