    Compatible?
Wattage is 55. Can I use a 5.5 weed cutter with a 10 amp extension cord?

I need an answer. Do you have a live person available. Not examples which do not help me

No live person. That's why answers are free, all volunteer. You posted a non sensible post. Bit testy eh?

I've done it plenty of times.
Only problem I've ever had with using 10 amp cords is with heaters, the cord can get very hot. Not a good idea.

I know you don't want an example, for those who do:
    120/55=.4583 Amps
    Volts into Watts equals amps.

Look at previous separate post. Multiplied a5.5 volt trimmer x a10 amp rated cord to get 55 watts.
