They can tow the car. Then you have to pay towing fee AND storage fee for each day you do not get it out. Example, towing $130.00 storage fee 1st day $60.00. You try getting enough money together. Next day you have enough money but now its $60.00 more. If they have drugs in the car it may be even more complicated regaining possession of it. They can also fine you for giving them permission. If you report it stolen, again you have towing and storage fees to deal with.
