HI. I have a 1992 BMW 525i that won't pump gas. Fuel filter , fuel pump and fues are good . No gas lines broken . Will start if sprayed with eather . What else can be wrong?

Bad fuel pump relay? Frequently, you can substitute another relay in the under hood fuse/relay box--same size relays are often the same part number. Can you hear the fuel pump run for 2 seconds, when the ignition switch is turned to ON?

Engage the 4th or 5th gear and move the car back and forth. Retry to start.
