Is your grandfather mentally competent? If your aunt has a POA, that doesn't mean she controls his life, just that she can sign for him. Where does he live?

If you believe your aunt is bleeding him get a lawyer and ask that the court appoint a conservator for him.

I think in this respect the p.o. might stand for ticked (other word) off. Also if abuse is going on then the OP can contact social services in the area and see how they handle elderly abuse.

If your grandfather is of sound mind, he can merely fire the one person as Power of Attorney and appoint a new person, takes a matter of a few minutes.

A Power of Attorney can not stop you from visiting or seeing the other person.

They have the right to sign for the other person if they are not available to sign.
