My friend got nailed last night in the eye and we went to the emergency and they said we need to wait a few days for the swelling to go down.
The told us the bone is fractured.

Can anyone let me know how serious this is and what is the treatment

It is a very small bone in eye socket that is easily fractured. Most doctors do nothing, just wait and see how it is healing. If it heals properly, nothing else is done.

Surgery may be needed but most doctors will wait and see
