I need to replace a dining room ceiling light controlled by two separate switches located on opposite walls. There are 3 black wires together and 3 white wires together and one red wire coming from the junction box where the new light will go. Information on how to correctly wire the new light would be appreciated. Thank you.

How was the old fixture wired?

If this is a replacement then as ma said, just wire the new one same as the old.
