Honda idling erratic at low revs
I have a 94 Honda Civic 180E. It has run fine up to now and is serviced every 10 000km. I have a problem now that the car idles uneven at low revs and at idling the revs drop to a point where the car nearly stalls.
There was one error code for the MAP sensor. I have replaced the MAP sensor previously and I suspect a problem with the wiring to/from the MAP sensor now.
Does anyone know where the MAP sensor wires enter the ECU? And how to track the problem?

The MAP sensor code logic compares the MAP sensor value to the BARO sensor. The MAP sensor code can be caused by a backfire (likey to happen if plug wires are mismatched) or a bad BARO sensor (which is located in the ECU). You can check the BARO sensor value with a scan tool (Honda PGM tester equipped with the 3 pin connector). Another possibility for MAP sensor code is that the TPS (throttle position sensor) and MAP sensor connectors are switched (I can't remember if they are the same on your vehicle).
As far as your idle troubles, what kind of service did you have performed lately?
