After picking up my birth control (nuvaring) from the pharmacy, I had to go straight to work. I figured it would be fine to leave it in my vehicle till I was done. But, I forgot about it until I had to put it back in. That was 5 days later. My vehicle gets very hot. Well over 85 degrees. Lately, I've been having these weird symptoms. My breasts are tender, my stomach is hard, and even the smell of some foods makes me nauseous. Could leaving my nuvaring in my car for that long made it stop working?

I bet that car got WAY over 85... in the sun on a 85 degree day.. it can get over 140 inside the car (greenhouse effect from the glass).

And those temps will effect many things. Medications included.

You however are going to have to wait until you are two weeks late before you can take a HPT to find out. Any sooner and the results won't be reliable.
