    Bartholin cyst ruptured
Hi, I had a bartholin cyst in May 2013 and went to my gynecologist as it was big to the point of severe discomfort anyway she performed an I&D and it was all good until about 2 weeks later it was back and a month later it was painful again, so I searched the internet and found online remedies one of them being silica... and thank god it worked, and the cyst ruptured but ever since it ruptured I keep getting discharge and a strong smell, not a fishy one but just a strong odor. I have also been experiencing cramps. So I went back to my Dr. and she said that the cyst is draining and I developed another one on the other side!! She gave me antibiotics and said that I should consider surgery to get them completely removed, but I don't want to do that. My question is this, is the discharge from the cyst? Why am I having cramps? And what can I do stop the discharge if it is or isn't from the cyst? FYI I don't live in the states.

All I could find was that you have to have surgery and keep it clean and how ever the doctor told you to drain it do it. I did find some simple solutions on the internet that you can make to dab it with cotton balls to help.

You can stop everything by following your doctor's advice instead of the Internet and strangers.
