I can easily hook up with a guy.. but when it comes to a girl.. I seem to have it all jumbled up.. I get very shy first of all.. and don't have that much experience when it comes to women.. I want to learn how to hook up with a girl/woman.. any suggestions ?

How old are you and what do you mean by hooking up?

I'm 20.. you know getting a date with someone and later on seeing how it evolves

How do you get to know guys? You met a young lady, you ask her out, get to know her.

I don't ask guys out either.. they just seem to come to me.. women on the other hand.. don't.. and it's been on my mind a lot lately.. since I'm only into women now..

You either get over your shyness, or you wait to be approached. You may be waiting for a while, especially if someone else is too shy to approach you.

It's never easy to approach someone. It can be very scary. But realize that even if you're rejected, it doesn't matter, you can move on, and you'll be less afraid to try.

I agree, you will have to just wait for someone else to come to you, or you will get past your shyness and start talking to people.

After my wife died, I was taught a lesson. Dating is a matter of numbers. I had to ask enough women out, ( many said no) to get and have a date. I wanted to date several people, for casual dating at that time. And it worked,

If a girl comments that she's way older than you.. does that mean there's no chance ? And if there still is.. what are ways in which you can get her to ignore the age discrepancy
