I have been an oral contraceptive and have not finished three weeks worth. Last night into the early a.m. I woke to having my period and I didn't think any thing of it until I passed what looked like tissue this afternoon! I have been on birth control for a long time on and off and this is the first time this has happened. The tissue I passed today is different then usual and my flow has been up and down today and I feel some what different hormone wise. I need help can anyone tell me what's happening?

There's really no way to tell you what's going on online. You could just be having a heavier period than normal. You could be miscarrying. It could be numerous other things. We really can't diagnose online. No one can.

If you're concerned about this then you should see a doctor. That's really your only option.
