    Reversing divorce
I haven't been to court yet, can I stop/ reverse my divorce. No court date but paid lawyer to draw up papers and file.

Both parties have to want to stop the divorce. You can just tell your lawyer not to file any papers, you can , if papers already filed, ask attorney to withdraw them.

If the other person has filed, you can not stop them.

So are you and the other person working things out ? Why do you wish to stop ?

You can't reverse a divorce until it is granted. But you can stop the proceedings as long as both parties agree. If you haven't filed in court yet, just don't.

. We are continuously working things out, we have decided to continue our path together with the help of counseling. I never wanted the divorce but was acting on anger and impulse to file. I really love my husband. A life changing event had to happen to open his eyes, I just wish it could have all been avoided. I really believe he is ready for change.
