Ok so today I found out that the guy I like, likes me back and he wants to shift me (shift is like irish slang for make out)! I was SO happy when I found out! But he's too shy to ask me out :/ I don't want him to loose interest in me, so how do I get him to ask me out without out me actually having to say it?? All help appreciated thanks!!

Don't do it... he didn't want you once... he's going to not want you again... its all a matter of time... unless you like being used for his convienience... at his convienience.

He seems like a guy who will brag about making out with you and I don't think you wan that to happen. Maybe you want to make him catch you, just hang out with him and then when you are about to walk away, give him a little peck on the cheek. Then when you find out he really does like you and wants to be in a relationship with you kiss him on the lips and see where that leads you to.

A young guy is going to want to sleep with anyone that shows an interest... he doesn't even have to like you... or even want to be around you again after.

I still stand by my initial answer.

Most 14 year olds in ireland don't have sex. And I have too much respect for myself to sleep with someone, so there's no worries of that happening

With the teenage pregnancy rates someone is. And those that end up that way start by chasing after guys that didn't show any interest.

Ok thanks, and there's no way I'd sleep with someone at 14 I don't know about him but I wouldn't do that

Hopefully you can keep that thought under the constant pressure teenage boys will subject you to... and speaking as someone who rememebrs a teenage boys thought process exceptionally clearly... even though its been years... 95% of their thoughts and actions as for as girls are concerned up through ttheir mid 20's... it to get a girl in bed for sex... by any means it takes.

Few girls make it to adults without giving in to the lies, promisses and other pressure.

Trust me... I honestly hope you are able to do what you say and NOT become a single mom as a teenager.

If you bother with this guy you better come to agreed defining of shift/make out because many guys assume that when a girl wants to make out she is willing to go the distance. You need to make it clear you are not wanting to do that. Even then when he gets you to the point where you want to stop as Smoothy said he may pressure you for more OR your hormones can take over and throw your cautions to the wind.
