Truck died after hitting pot hole will not turn over. Can jump starter to turn over motor but will not fire off. Starter will not turn over with key.

Remove and fully charge both batteries; then, have them load tested. Clean battery terminals and cable connections, plus clean the grounds. Check the cables for corrosion and hidden breaks. Finally, clean the starter motor connections. To verify the starter is good, hook up a remote starter switch or jump the "S" terminal on the solenoid to the positive battery terminal (bypass test). If the starter then works, the ignition switch, neutral safety switch, or starter relay may be bad.
