I am 32, I am 12 days late for my period, and yesterday I have a light brown discharge . My periods are always right on time.I am very tired .The problem is I have intra uterine device (copper t)... I am worried about the ectopic pregnancy.I did a home pregnancy test yesterday and it came negative.What should I do?Can I wait one more week?

Best thing to do is see your doctor for a Quantitative Beta HCG pregnancy blood test. This will measure the exact amount of HCG in your blood and is highly accurate. You may be testing too early with a urine HPT. Its best if you write down the name of the blood test because your physican might perform a Qualiative which isn't very accurate for early pregnancy.

Thanks for your answers.My last menstural period was on 15 th Feb.I did the urine tests to confirm the pregnancy on 25 th and 30 th of March.I am going to make an appt this week.
