Fiancé dies before the wedding and son takes everything. Help?
My fiancé passes 2 months before the wedding. His son came and took everything. I have a document stating that everything is mine. What should I do?

Let me start by saying that I am very sorry for your loss.

What exactly is that "document?" Is it a will? If not, the chances of you getting anything are slim as the son is a living relative and you were not legally married.

You need more than a statement... you are going to need a legal Will giving everything to you... otherwise his son would normally be entitled to everything... but who is entitled to what would be determined more buy what Country and state you lived in... as laws do vary.

It would be in your best interests to see a lawyer.

It all depend on first how long, after son took the items, did you file a theft report with police, how long ago, is it 3 week or 3 months ?

What is this document ? Unless it is a will, it may not be binding after fiancé death
