I have a 2004 Chevy Malibu LS with the six cylinder motor.When it sits idling it pulsates,skips, while sitting.The longer I sit at a stop light the more it pulsates,wondering if it's going to stall.While driving on the highway I can feel it doing the samething from time to time and the battery indicater light will flash on from time to time.Any suggestions? Thought it might be the injectors?

Have the alternator tested. I suspect the brushes have worn down too far and they are starting to bounce. I would replace the voltage regulator/brush assembly in the alternator, which is easy to do. A failing alternator can cause all kinds of performance issues.
