    Anxiety medicine symptoms
I was having rapid heartbeat and my head felt like it was bobbing. The dr put me on Viibryd. I have taken it for three days now on 10 mg. I now can not sleep, nave worse anxiety, muscle tightness, sweating, fast heartbeat, feal unsteady. Should I stop taking it?

You need a Dr to get you off the meds and transition you to something else. I get anxiety from time to time but I control it with vitamins and natural supplements. The meds made it worse for me.

Were you supposed to have a follow up visit or refill the script?

That doesn't even sound right to me. Getvon an anxiety med and then have to go 4 weeks without it. I went through withdraw stopping the anxiety med I took for less than 2 weeks

If you explained those symptoms to your doctor correctly, and he gave you a sample packet and told to come back in four weeks, there HAS to be something wrong with your doctor's comprehension. Was this doctor your primary with an understanding of your medical history? Onset of rapid heartbeat and dizziness are symptoms that need immediate addressing. Get yourself to another doctor for a second opinion, take the meds with you, and explain EVERY symptom you had, or are having.

Do not stop the medication on your own. Quite a few you need to be taken off slowly and be watched by your doctor. The side effects of stopping suddenly can be severe.
