    Heart Problem/Need Answers!!
Ok, I am 18 years old, and I recently had chest pains, which were extremely severe coming and going for 3-4 days. I went to the E.R. and after tests it appeared I had a heart attack, so I was sent to a specialist. Turns out I had a virus which attacked the sack around the heart. I was told to refrain from weight lifting, jogging, running, anything moderately raising my heart rate. Anyway, would you think this includes masturbation or even sex? Just wondering for my own peace of mind so I'm not freaked out lol. Anything will help!
    Thanks a lot

Yes, you should refrain from masturbation and/or sex as that increases the heart rate as well.

Well I can still practice hitting baseballs and playing catch, so I think its just moderately raising it. Would masturbation/sex raise it the same as running/weight lifting? (Moderately high heart rate)

Sex is actually fairly stressful on the heart if you have a problem with it (the heart)... and you do right now. It however is not a permanent situation in your case.
