When did she have her most recent period? Has she taken a pregnancy test?

She may not be pregnant. Wait two weeks after she misses her August period, then tell her to take a home pregnancy test with the first urine of the morning.

She doesn't have irregular periods, so it's a concern. What can we do to remove the problem

We don't know yet if there IS a "problem." Only an abortion could be done now IF she is pregnant. Will she go to a doctor to find out if she is indeed pregnant?

Yes we will. But we are indeed looking at a solution like some kind of medication which can solve the problem. We don't want any surgeries as she has already had a liver abscess and gall bladder removal surgery earlier.

It's too late for any pill to solve your "problem" IF there is one. And there may be something else that is causing the cramps. She needs to see a doctor.

Does this give you a message about abstaining from sex? Why are you putting her in danger?

Ya I understand. But are there no medicative procedures for abortion, if there's a problem as you are saying. Can you also please help me with some symptoms to look for to find out whether she is pregnant? I am in India , here pregnancy kits are not regularly available .

There are medications that can induce a miscarriage/abortion. They're very risky, they're not 100% effective, and she'd need to be under a doctors care to take them, and be monitored.

A D & C/surgical abortion is much safer than the medication available.

There are medications available to cause a medical abortion, however you need to find out whether she is pregnant first. These medications are very dangerous, and much more dangerous if she is NOT pregnant.

She needs to either take a home pregnancy test or visit a doctor for a pregnancy test. The medications that are available are not over the counter and will need to be prescribed to her by a doctor.
