Before going in to talk with ICBC Insurance claim
Hi I have this debt with ICBC that is well over 200,000 due to injury claim pay out, not mine I never claimed, I crashed my dads truck about 9 years ago result my dad got paid out, then year or so later my "friend" got paid out and I got a bill for them both, since then I have gotten letters on a non regular basis stating my bill, and until about a year ago spoke with no one about payment or such. I have recently (purposly) been playing phone tag with them as they spoke with my dad saying something about other soultions to getting my licence back. Rather good timing as I was just about to go work in alberta for a few months and obtain my licence while I was there

Just wondering that if I say I would like to pay but right now don't have the means to, is enough to reset the clock on my debt or??

Also Medical services plan has sent NCO financial after me for over 3000 I have no clue got to be that amount, I must assume from the car accident as I haven't been to the hospital since then
Any help would be greatly appreciated

Ok, let me get this straight. You crashed your Dad's truck with your friend in it. You were an uninsured driver on the vehicle, so after the insurance paid the claims resulting from the accident, they are coming after you?

Not sure if the Canadian provinces have reciprocal setups, but, most likely if you try to get a license in another province the notation against your license will show up.

There may not be a clock to reset here. Sounds like they already obtained a judgement against you, which means all they have to do is renew it.

Hi thanks, yes without telling us they paid out my dad, making it seem like that was the best option but regardless there is a "Said" thing that after 6-7 years you can just go get your licence but don't know of anybody n the past 5 years that it worked

And canadains don't share much info between provinces, when my grandma died "she" took out loans, bought a house all over canada... kinda fuct up hey
