Changed the throttle position sensor does the transmission computer need to be reset?
I recently changed my throttle position censor in my 93 Pontiac Bonneville and I wanted to know if I needed to reset the transmission computer if so how do I go about doing that?

I don't believe on a '93 there is any sort of resetting other than maybe clearing the memory which would require you to disconnect the battery for a few minutes.

Disconnecting the negative battery cable for 15 seconds will clear any codes in the ECM and TCM.

So do you think it would be a good idea to do that since I replaced the throttle position censor?

If you didn't have any codes, it shouldn't be necessary but let's put it this way... it can't really hurt to do it, you know? I would do it just as a matter of finishing the repair and starting over.
