    Art Identification
I have recently found a piece of art that has interested me. It is a framed piece of knitted artwork. In good condition, it looks vintage and well kept; it doesn't have the name of an artist on it.

I wanted to know if anyone knows the name of the artist and if it is worth anything?

Unfortunately, it looks like a kit picture that is readily available from numerous craft or hobby shops.
The intrinsic value, therefore will be little in real terms.

Yep it is a crafts latch hook from around the 70's I do believe.

    So is it worth anything?

I'd say worth under $50.00 at least $25.00
This seems about the average going rate for a latch hook

That looks like a needlepoint piece.
Still not likely to bring much of a price, this vintage piece on eBay isn't doing so well.
It is still a nice piece of work though.

That was the other word I was looking for. I kept thinking embroidery but knew that wasn't what it was. D

I had to look pretty closely myself. May not be worth much in terms of money, but it's still a nice decorative piece.

Tinyj, just out of curiosity, how large is it?
