Last week we replaced kitchen faucet with touch faucet. After that the sinks and shower have hot water coming through cold water line. Eventually becomes cold. When not used for a while, becomes hot again. Did we do something wrong in installation?

It is certainly possible that the installation has caused the issue, but it is more likely to be the fault of the manufacturer as long as you didn't mess with any of the other plumbing in the house besides this faucet.

Contact the technical support department of the faucet manufacturer... will help you resolve this issue and send parts for free, if needed, OK?
