Black and white movie from 1950's or early 1960's about a fog or mist or gas that kills. One scene is a man going over a high covered bridge when he gets killed by this. What is the Movie Name? I almost see Elisha Cook,Jr as this man yet his bio does not show such a movie.

It's getting late but The Fog comes to mind. The Mist was more recent, in color, and by Stephen King. For some reason I'm thinking The Thing may have had a fog or mist in it. Getting old! Check those two... Tx!
