A college student rented from me but did not pay. I got him to sign a promissory agreement 4 years ago. He is now making a lot of money and I would like to get my $300 back. Is that too long to wait?

What is the terms to the note he signed, it is not the years for small claims court, it is the years for the type of debt.

Did the note state a deadline by which the amount would be paid? Have you tried asking for the money?
