"Speed thermometer?" Perhaps you mean "speedometer" - did you do anything after your previous post on this topic - see: https://www.askmehelpdesk.com/cars-trucks/97-ford-expedition-speed-sensor-location-758854.html#post3510012

No because the speedometer started working that day and I haven't had a problem with it sense until yesterday I went and bought a speed sensor to see if that would fix the speedometer but its raining and it hasn't stopped yet but would the sensor also cause the truck to act like its misfiring also ?

Ok the check engine light came on Fri. It was my #7 misfiring so I changed the coil and the spark plug I drove out of town for the weekend came.back yesterday everything was OK this morning while I was driving the overdrive light, abs light, A4wd light, and the 4x4 lights was all on flashing on and off and my wiper blades starting acting funny also they would move and then stop and then start back and then my check engine light came back on I check for the codes and 1 was p0307 which is my #7 misfiring again and p0500 which is speed sensor malfunction what is wrong why is all this stuff popping up ?

When Vehicle Speed Sensors (VSS) fail on Fords, they can trigger a host of codes--all that you mentioned and more. Try replacing the VSS and clearing all codes.

The VSS is the speed sensor that I had changed on Friday so you are saying for me to replace that one with another brand new one ?

No. Your writing is not always clear. I'll pass on this one.
