My last menstrual period was on 7/9/13 and I had unprotective sex on 8/5/13. I took a urine and blood test today and both came back negative. Would these results be accurate at this point?

I checked the calendars and you are in fact beyond the two week point of being late... so if those tests were perfomed correctly... they should be accurate.

I disagree. If your last period was 7/9, your next due date would be about a week ago. So test results are only about 50% accurate at this point. Wait another week. Also, if the only sex was on 8/5 that is very late in your cycle so the odds are less.

Oops... Scott is correct... I miscounted the weeks (didn't have a physical callender).. and in fact you aren't two weeks late yet...

If you had unprotected sex on August 5, 2013, it would be way too early to test. That was 10 days ago.

Per the callender... it should have been started August 6. (assuming a 28 day cycle)

If she has an average cycle, which she didn't mention.

Either way, it's too early to test.
