    Growing Ivy
My husband and I are going to paint our house and one side of the house is almost completely covered in ivy and I think the only way to paint that side of the house is to very carefully take the ivy down and when they're done put it back with those ties that they sell at the nursery. It seems like this will be the only way to save our ivy. Does anyone know if ivy grows back again to a wall after being taken down?

Oh yeah-ivy grows like crazy you could just tear it all down and it will grow right back. Ivy will climb anywhere it can.

You will probably do the ivy a lot of good by taking it down and cutting it off at the plant. It will come back in as thick and green as ever.
