Repeated miscarriages due to Blighted Ovum
I conceived two years back in 2011 and had spontaneous miscarriage due to blighted ovum. I got conceived recently with twin pregnancy and both were blighted ovums. I had medical abortion to clean it up. May I know why this is happening again and again. And what should do before trying to conceive again and have healthy pregnancy. Please let us know.

Blighted ovum is embryo attaching to the uterine wall, but no fetal development occurs. This development should be clearly seen in an ultrasound at six weeks. For whatever reason, and the fault doesn't necessarily lie with you. Perhaps the sperm was not strong enough.

In any event, this is a highly personal issue and should be discussed with your OBYGYN to explore your options, if any.
