I have just recently started walking 1 mile a day. I walk it in 19 to 20 minutes. I would like to know how many calories I burn in a day doing this. I am 65 years old.

Everyone burns calories differently. One mile in 20 minutes is a normal time and you are probably going a good pace if you are doing that. Why don't you buy a small caloric monitor that is carried with you. Calories burned is your weight + time + distance to calculate.
