Hello everyone, here's the thing, my Birthday was on July 25 and I did not have a plan for it at all but somehow few of my closes friends come over to my place and surprised me. They brought some food and drinks so we had fun they made my day. My boyfriend is in Thailand for few weeks now. He has work there, and I'm here in Dubai and we keep chatting all the time after our work. So I told him about my birthday and all and now he is asking for my birthday pics, which is on one of my friend's camera.

She has all the pics. I mean they surprised me, so everything is on my friend's camera. I asked my friend to share with me my birthday pic as my boyfriends asking for it but my friend I a bit busy at work also on travel right now, so she doesn't have time to share the pics with me. Now my boyfriend got really upset and he said he won't talk to me unless I share my birthday pics with him.

I don't know what to do as I don't have the pics. I feel hurt and upset also. I think he's just over reacting about the pics. What should I do about this? I'm so confused. If you can give me ideas I would appreciate it very much. Thank you guys.

Just tell him this, that he is a jerk, and you have shared every photo you have. If you do not have photos, you can not send them.

If he is that upset over something this simple, think and consider how bad he will be, over a real issue. This may be a warning about this relationship

He's an idiot and Fr_Chuck is right. It's not your fault that the friend has the pics. Your boyfriend needs to grow up a little and stop acting like a kid.

It is also a good opportunity for you to address the probability that he is jealous. Has he expressed jealousy before in other ways i.e.. the way you dress, friends that are male, where you go and what you do with your time etc.

He isn't saying how happy he was that friends came over to celebrate your birthday and what a great surprise that was. He was not happy at all.

But the pictures! That will tell the story that you aren't saying.

I know it's ridiculous, and I would feel it was demeaning as well, to be treated with such suspicion and disrespect.

Tell him you aren't going to bug your friend- again- to satisfy his weird curiosity, and tell him if he's so desperate to get the pictures, he can ask your friend himself.

I doubt he'll want to appear like a fool.

Sounds like he is jealous and controlling. Don't agrue with him. If he can be that Petty tell him then I guess we are done talking

Hello thank you for your kind reply, and yes he alwys monitoring with all my moves, sometimes if I'm being too bz at work and I can't sent him messages during working hours, he said I never miss him. And then whenever I go out with my girls friends for shopping at mall or get somedrinks sometimes on weekend he alwys asked me to sent him pictures and he wants to know who else are with me.. I never lied to him, I alwys tells him what I'm up to or what my plans is as I love him so much and don't want him to get angry or upset with me. Somehow we end up fighting with some small things like if I sleep early without waiting for him to come online, I alwys leave him messages saying I'll talk to him tom as I'm too tired.. sometimes I feel like he is suffocating me, we planning to get married by the end of this year, and he asking me to stop working after the wedding, I'm too worried about all this he being jealous all the time..

He sounds like he wants to control you, you need to think serious about this, at home, he controls all the money, you don't have a job, have to answer for any place you go, he has to OK anyone you talk to /??

Yeah that's right... I should probobly think about all this, and one more thing whenever we fight or got into misunderstanding he alwys tell me " fine I should leave u alone and never disturbe u again" that words already bothers me long time ago since we started dating. But I keep ignoring it I thought that's the way he loves me and he just want my attention. Just now I realized all of this about him..
