I have a red bump on my vagina. The bump hurts and itches. I have no idea what it could be! I'm really scared that something might be wrong with me! What is it and what do I do??

Some people use 'vagina' as a general term. Where exactly is it; aside from being at the opening of your vagina?

It probably is an ingrown hair, but very difficult to diagnose when it can't be seen. If you are that worried, see your doctor for a proper diagnosis.

If you are sexually active and have had multiple partners without protection, it could be several things. We can't tell you exactly what it is, because this is the internet my dear.

If you are not sexually active and shave your pubes, then it could be a painful ingrown hair which will grow and break like a pimple, just don't try to break it, or it will get incredibly sore and infected.

I had sex once but it wasn't recently. How could it get infected if I pop it?

ANY popped ingrown hair could get infected. Ben here, done that. Popping it opens it up to germs.
