I am worried I might be pregnant
I am on birth control and I used a condom. I am three days late with my period. I just started a workout routine and I have band camp this whole week. So I have been exercising a lot. I am wondering why I am late?

You are only three days late... if this is the first time consider yourself lucky... because its not uncommon. Its time to worry when it becomes 2 weeks... because that's as early as you can take a test and get an accurate result.

However you were taking very reasonable precautions... but it is still possible. And in fact we have people here I know well that have managed to get pregnant while on multiple forms of birth control.. one of them twice... like you The pill and condoms... the other while using thee forms.

Wait another 11 days... take a home pregnancy test when you wake up in the morning.. the very first time you pee that morning.

If your period comes before then... then there is no need.

Any time you have sex, even if you use every form of birth control on the market, pregnancy is possible. At three days you wouldn't even be considered late though. You'll have to wait until you're at least 2 weeks late (14 days) then test using first morning urine.

Stress, exercise, diet, weight gain, weight loss, medication, illness, etc. can delay your period. You mentioned a few things that could be the reason your period is late, other than pregnancy.

You'll have to wait and see. There's really no way to tell you what's going on online.

    Good luck.

Also would you be able to see a difference in your stomach yet if it has only been a month?

You won't see a difference for at least 3 or 4 months.

This gives you an idea WHY.

No, there is no outward sign at one month or even two. Most "signs" happen into end of second month or third month.

The first sign is normally a missed period. 3 days is not really late, although being on birth control it should be regular. The stress and change of life style can cause it to be late, or even miss sometimes.

Nothing you can do now but wait, if no period in about 2 weeks, take a pregnancy test, with first urine of the morning.
