Hello I was in uae for 6 years since 2003 till 2009 and I was having loan and visa and got some problems in my country when I was visiting it in 2009 that's why I left uae but I tried to contact the bank and I have emails for that to pay my loan and visas and I even send my friend to the bank but they didn't reply me back about how much I owe them,and now I knew that my name is in the airport, I did the eye scan when I was in uae in 2003 my question os how ill remove my name from the airport knowing that I want to pay all the money I owe them,, thanks please reply me

You don't get to remove it (your eye scan)... it will always be in the database... in case you attempt to use a false ID in the future.

And until you have paid that loan in its entirety... the fact remains that you did default on the loan, and it has not been paid back in full yet. So that will remain at least until it is. An up to them what they do afterwards.

Thanks for the reply, I forget to tell also that I was having insurance and the insurance paid the loan but the problem is that my name now in the airport as a criminal, and I want to go back and pay it so what will happen, would they arrest me?

I can't answer that question... so someone else will have to (I'm not certain). If they have what amounts to an Arrest warrant... then they might.

Everyone can... its on the list of threads on this forum... It's here for everyone to see. Its just likely that like me... they don't have an answer they are certain about for that other part. But have patience... someone that does should see it at some point.

I don't know the answer either, but are you sure that non-payment of debt (which, I understand, this is all about) is considered criminal in the UAE? Unless there are special circumstances, it would not be here, so I would be interested to know.

I guess its creminal because I didn't pay it so the bank put my name in the airport

Personally... I'd make arraingements to pay back all that money BEFORE you attempt to go. And not go until every last bit is paid back. They have reputations of not being very forgiving about various offenses. THis being one of them.

Get a mail address and a name... write them a letter... an actual letter not just email... AND get a phone number and call and talk with someone also...

I'm guessing most people that skip out on a loan... never pay them back or even come back... so they might not think you are serious...
