    Bright red vaginal bleeding
I am 31 y/o. I have a history of endometrial polyps, back in 12/11 and 12/12, both times removed via hysteroscopy/polypectomy. I do not have regular periods either. Since last Dec, I have spotted here and there but no full period. On Saturday evening I started bleeding. It is very bright red, heavy, and large clots (size of golf ball or slightly bigger). I also have tender breasts, abdominal cramping, and lower back pain. I took an HPT yesterday and it was negative. I saw my OBGYN PA today and she told me she's not sure what could be causing it without doing an ultrasound, which I can't schedule until the bleeding has stopped. She said there was so much bright red blood in there, I wouldn't be stopping anytime soon. She put me on 20mg/daily of Provera to stop the bleeding. As of tonight it has slowed down but I still do not know the source of the bleeding. I have felt incredibly weak from bleeding so much the past few days. She ordered a CBC, HcG, and to check my thyroid. Any help is greatly appreciated!
