Is cedar sawdust OK as a soil additive for bonsai trees?
I have a Dwarf Japanese Juniper, planted in a red cedar planter. The soil mixture is 50% sand, 25% peat moss and 25% potting soil. Would there be a problem to use 25% sand, 25% peat moss, 25% potting soil and 25 cedar sawdust in order to make it lighter for mailing?
