    Sputtering kitchen sink tap
First turn on tap it sputters for a few seconds before running smoothly . Also toilet make a swooshing sound after flushing.

Was the plumbing opened anywhere recently so that air could have gotten in. Shortly after a repair and the water is turned back on, it sputters like that but other than that, I can't think what the cause could be. It may be a good idea to have the water pressure checked and see if it is higher than 60 p.s.I.. Maybe if the pressure is too high it could cause some sputteri ng.
