I want to lighten my brown hair and then add a different color would I be able to do it right after the other?

Are you dying your hair twice or are you bleaching and then coloring? What is your hair's natural color, and what color are you trying to go from and to?

If you are bleaching, then yes you can color immediately if you use a demi-permanent color product.

I want to lighten it with a blonde dye then dye it to burgundy
