I signed a one year joint lease on a house a few month ago with my boyfriend of 3 years. Now it's looking like we are going to go our separate ways. I want to leave this new house but he wants to stay. How can I get my name off the lease agreement so that I am not held responsible for anything he does to the house after I leave? Thanks.
