    What are those pipes dripping?
Out of curiosity can anybody tell me what these 2 pipes outside of my house are for? They constantly drain water and as you can see in the picture there's already a whole puddle. They come out of the house right next to the AC.

    Thank you!

If you have 2 AC units and the pipes drip when they are running, they are functioning properly. They are the condensate tray drain pipes used to remove water from the A coil trays in the air handler units. If you only have 1 unit, then 1 could be from the hot water heater PRV valve. How many AC units?

I only have 1 AC unit. There is another (only 1) drain pipe on the side of the garage, seems like next to the hot water heater.

There is normally a discharge pipe from the hot water heater, in case the pressure relief valve pops, it allows hot water to go out, without hurting anyone.

The other would normally be a drip pipe from the AC unit. Perhaps they ran two on yours ( not common but I have seen it done.

You will need to follow them to see where they go,
