Yeast infection or just ph imbalance?
The area above my clitorius but below my hairline on my vagina itch. They don't burn .but there's toilet paper looking residue inside the folds and hood. I thought maybe it would be just a Ph imbalance or a yeast infection but I put antifungal clotrimazole on the itchy area. Its working but do I need to put the cream on anything else or just the itchy part just in case it's a yeast infection. Will the cream get rid of it if it is a yeast infection? & would me just getting off UTI antibiotics & putting my birthcontrol back in (Nuvaring) have anything to do with it?

If you take baths and do not get the tub really clean and down there really clean or it could be from the heat you'd have to see a Dr to be sure.

It most likely is yeast (common description: cottage cheese) and it mostly likely was caused by antibiotics, and it moves in when pH is out of whack. So you are right. And clotrimazole is a treatment. Keep using it until itching gone and white stuff gone. It tends to repeat. I got it whenever I took antibiotics, but only when younger, not after menopause (at 50) for some reason.
