What could possibly be wrong with me?
What the hell is wrong with me? I haven't slept all day literally not even an hours worth of sleep! It seems to get worse night by night last night I couldn't sleep till 8-9am and the night before that I couldn't sleep till 5am. Guess what? Today I didn't sleep at all. I can't imagine what's going to happen tonight. Firstly take this into consideration, during the summer holidays my routine is easily messed up and my sleeping pattern becomes irregular but not as crazy as this, I've always ended up sleeping no matter what and the latest was 4am these days however I can't sleep at all. I feel wide awake till about 7-8am and then I begin to feel tired eyes hurt and all that but when I attempt to sleep I can't :( day by day my pattern gets worse, I usually am a light sleeper but these days any little noise pisses me off and that's it you can't sleep! Like for e.g. ill lay in my ear and ill start to feel and hear a throbbing noise and ill keep switching sides all night long. Ive tried everything, I just can't sleep. What's wrong with me? Why would your body not want to sleep? Im eating fine, not over weight etc... the after math of sleeping is bot bad either I'm easily refreshed its not being able to sleep is the problem! I even watched a movie till about 11am and its now 12:26 and I feel like a zombie... I have a fat headache, neck-ache and my eyes are sore. Sorry for the long paragraph thank you I'm 18 years of age by the way

Insomnia has too many causes, sorry.
You gloss right over the 'summer routine' that is 'crazy' so that could very well be your problem.
If it's not the routine, or emotional (worry, stress, grief), or dietary (too much caffeine, soft drinks), then you need to see a doctor.
It could be that you are hyperthyroid, for starters, and only tests will determine that. Not everyone shows protruding eyeballs and other symptoms.

Perhaps need to see a doctor, there are many reasons.

Soft sounds playing in background, so to block the little sounds, heck my wife can hear a clock ticking in the other room. I can not even hear the clock in the same room.
Start shutting down, stop watching any exciting TV, stop video games. Warm bath.
