She brings her best friend on our dates?
So, I like this girl and I've taken her out multiple times before...

I think it was about 4 times just me and her. The "take outs" went fine, and she enjoyed them.

BUT this last time I asked her to go somewhere and she asked me if she could bring her best friend along. I agreed with me and her friend, and we still had fun anyway.

A few weeks after this, we hung our again after this alone on campus in college.

Then this week, I ask her to tag along with me to catch a ballgame, and she asks me again if she can bring her best friend. I asked why and If I did something wrong, and she responded by saying its because her best friend never went to a game before. I played the good guy and said it was all right.

Is this bad on my part? For her to bring her best friends to these occasions?

No Its not bad. Is she aware you consider going out dates? I notice you call it "take outs" hung out and tag alongs, so she might feel that you are just hanging out and not really seeing her as a girl friend

Well when Its considered hanging out it is usually in a group. At least she has the Curtiosy to ask. I was thinking you thought of her as a girlfriend because of the wording of the title

So I'm confused... are you two dating or just hanging out like friends?

I'm confused too. You tell her you're hanging out, but you tell us that they're dates. Those are two very different things.

If you're hanging out, you're friends, and her bringing a friend along isn't unusual at all. If you're dating, and she knows it, then it's a bit odd that she's invited her friend to tag along.

Sounds to me like she doesn't know what the two of you are doing. Doesn't sound like you're fully committed to dating her either, otherwise why call it hanging out? I hang out with friends, not someone I'm dating. Being asked to tag along, is not a date, it's a friend asking if you want to hang out.

I don't understand why you have a problem with it if you're just hanging out and it has only happened a couple of times. What's the big deal?

If you want a DATE, then tell her it is a date,

If you are just hanging out, then she is and can bring others, (including a boyfriend, since you are not one)

Time to be honest if you are dating or not.

Or perhaps the wild side of me, she has other ideas for the three of you and you are not catching those hints. **
