    Light fixture wiring
Took Down Ceiling fan with a light kit and am trying to replace with a regular light fixture. The current wiring in the ceiling is one black one white one red wire . I capped red and connected b to b, w to w and hooked up the ground wire. With this configuration the light turns on but won't turn off with switch (single switch). I pulled off switch plate cover and pulled out switch. There is a black and white coming in then the black and white are pig tailed with 2 sets leaving. One set to the location if the old fan and the other I don't know. I'm pretty sure I have to change something on the switch itself but not sure what I should change. Please help!

Go back to the ceiling and connect the black from the light fixture to the red house wiring, cap the black with a wire nut.
