Do it the right way and have someone auger it out. Would you like to stick your hands in Drano if it doesn't work?

As said in above response, this clog may be beyond Draino treatment. Call Drain Cleaning contractor to snake it for you. It is a routine service call, not a big project to do.

    Back to you

I agree, Draino ( and I would never use it for anything personally) is not designed for this, but for minor clogs at the sink for a little grease or hair in a small drain.

If you do not have your own auger to clean, or if you do not wish to rent one from a local rental store, a contractor does this very inexpensive

I totally agree with you Church! I hate getting that nasty Drano on my hands when I had to go out to a job that some goofy person dumped down & then didn't warn you that they did. But, before you decide to get a contractor to do this job, check them out first. And, never believe them if they say that they can't get the eel through. I was a industrial Pipefitter for 38 years. I've run the snake God knows how many times. And, if you hit a blockage then just change the cutter on the end. And, you'll go through it. I don't care if it's roots, flip flops, tee shirts, shot glasses, Allegheny whitefish (sanatary napkins), dead mice (tampons) or what ever, the eel will go through it. In the industrial setting those jerks would thrrow anything down the crapper just to give you grief. But, they were the first ones to complain when the crapper was shut down.
