Hey! Calm down its not a bad thing to get in periods early!

Most first periods are brown, or just spotting. Talk to your mom about this so she knows you'll soon need supplies. For now, wear a panty liner just in case.

Thank you so much! But does a lot of brown discharge mean I'm about to start?

Brown discharge could be your first period. I really can't tell you if it is or not though. If it's a lot, then it's likely your first period, it could turn to red in a day or so. Tell your mom about it.

Well suck it up because if you have something that needs a doctor.. or a pregnancy... she's going to find out sooner or later anyway.

If you are just starting to have your period... you NEED to talk to your mother... because there are things you are going to be needing she will have to buy... and you will need to start going to a gynecologist.

You mothers been through this herself. So has every other woman as they matured.

    13 almost 14

Okay... Why do I have to go to a genealogist?

Why do I have Togo to a genealogist if I haven't started my period but I'm having brown discharge

To make sure everything is good before its too late... to start annual pap smears which test for cervical cancer...

Look at it as an annual physical for your woman parts. A gynecologist is a specialist.

Your threads have been merged. It is no longer recommended to see a gynecologist until you are sexually active.

No need to worry, you don't have to see a gynecologist.
