    Chest pain
41 female... Pain dead center of my chest behind the sternum running straight through to the center of my back between my shoulder blades. Went to chiropractor yesterday... Could I be misaligned or is this more serious

It would seem logical that it was a misalignment. I wouldn't take that chance though. I would get yourself looked at at a ER. If it isn't anything serious then I would venture that it could be a misalignment.

It could be coincidental that you went to the Chiropractor and now you're having chest pains. Which means that there might be an issue with one of your VITAL organs.

    Get thee to a ER.

I discourage ERs in general, mostly because they are not equipped for this sort of pain and partly because of huge costs. Exam? X-ray? Every move you make will cost 4 x as much, at least. Especially if you are in the US.
You should have a regular doctor who knows your history! We don't know ANYTHING about you, not even why you are going to a chiropractor. 41 and female is just... nothing to go on.

You have to be careful with some chiropractors. Nost are great through. If this one was any good he would have explained what's going on. It could be anything from misalignment to digestión oblems or anxiety or who knows. I'd only go to the ER as a last resort.
